SSPX Paranoia at its Finest

The other night I had a brief e-mail conversation with a fellow about sedevacantism and the SSPX - he said in part:

I am not aware of the SSPX promoting a party line stating that the current (or any of the past) pope(s) was not accepted, nor that any of the popes were not Catholic.

I responded as follows:

Then you really need to hear a good dose of Bishop Williamson explaining how the Pope can sometimes be Catholic and other times he isn't.

Dilemma: Either the Pope is always Catholic or he isn't. If he is not then how can he be the Pope ?

Sorry the Pope is always Catholic even when he (Williamson) doesn't like what he hears.

It was Williamson's histrionics that led me to sede land.

It was Pope Benedict as Cardinal Ratzinger that led me away from this foolish position.

Yesterday I discovered the following link which will take you to an audio file of a conference given by Bishop Williamson November 19, 2006 in Warsaw. The opening words: "My dear friends, everything is going very badly...." and downhill all the way from there. He starts calling the authorities in Rome, wolves and sharks and even "communists" !!! I almost died laughing at the complete madness that now besets the Society of St. Pius X. Listen if you can stand it. I was going to let this pass, but as I am writing this column I am listening to the conference. Proves my assertions in the e-mail response perfectly.
