Correction !

I tried to log on to the web page tonight but the server was slower than usual. It didn't take me long to find out why: some kind soul at Fr. Z's page had linked to an audio sermon from last year and the web traffic had slowed down this site. I listened to the beginning of the sermon in question wondering what all the fuss was about. I winced when I heard the opening few sentences as I distinctly recalled this sermon for the obvious blooper. You see when you speak extemporaneously with a few notes to jog your memory (as I do) it is easy to make mistakes in an unconscious fashion. The blooper here was that I identified Fr. Louis Bouyer as a Dominican when in fact he was an Oratorian. I knew that when I said it, but I wasn't thinking. Later when I listened to the sermon after uploading it I wished I had figured out back then how to edit that comment out. So before I get inundated with corrections... I correct myself here...mea maxima culpa !
