Parish Mission Statement

We are fully committed to the preservation of the traditions of the Catholic Church. Catholics of all ages are welcome to attend our services, worship as their fore-fathers, and re-discover their Catholic heritage !

Our Lady of Fatima Church is operated under the auspices of The Little Company of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Its members are vowed to the preservation of the Traditional Faith and of the propagation of the Message of Our Lady of Fatima.

Particular emphasis is laid on the virtue of charity in this parish as is evidenced by the many smiling faces that greet the new arrival.

Liturgy: All the Sacramental rites are performed according to the liturgical books in force in 1962.

Traditions of the Church: Since the changes following the Second Vatican Council, many of the traditions and customs of our heritage have fallen into disuse elsewhere; we therefore ask your co-operation in the following areas:

Modesty Standards: Modest and proper attire is required for everyone entering the church whether for services or private visits. Ladies please wear a skirt or dress which covers the knee when standing or sitting, and a head-covering. Veils are available for loan or purchase in the vestibule. Men are reminded that shorts, tank-tops and jeans are considered improper attire in this church.

Holy Communion: We welcome all baptized Catholics in a state of grace to our communion rail. Those conscious of mortal sin on the soul must make confession of their sins before receiving our Lord.

Silence is Golden !: Silence is observed at all times in the Church out of keeping for the reverence due to Our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament and in order not to disturb others at prayer.
